JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the business office, including: welcoming of patients, answering phone calls, scheduling of appointments, and maintaining patient records.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- First point of contact when answering phone calls.
- Address patient requests, concerns and needs in a professional and friendly manner.
- Triage decisions, issues, complaints, requests and forward to Practice Manager when they are not in office.
- Accept and properly record payments made at time of service, via mail and telephone.
- Monitor the schedule daily and schedule appointments in consideration of production and capacity.
- Manage the Doctor schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time.
- Work on continuing care and overdue treatment lists.
- Send requested records from patients and update the patient file.
- Any other duties as assigned
